Did Jesus Descend into Hell?

When Jesus died and His body was buried, did His Spirit descend into Hell? A video clip from Right Response Ministries. My opinion: The earth can be thought of as both a flat plane and as a sphere. The upper part of the plane that we live on is contained by half of the sphere, AKA the Firmament. The belly of the earth is contained by the lower half of the sphere, AKA the Great Deep, Sheol, Hades, and Abraham's Bosom. Jesus told the thief on the cross that he would be with Him in Paradise today, not in hell as we think of it. There is a great gulf fixed between Hell and Paradise to where no one is able to pass between the two. Jesus descended into Abraham's Bosom to preach to the Saints that had died before Heaven was available to all that would call upon His name. He led captivity captive from Paradise but He did not go to the place of eternal torments, to the place where God was rejected. The waters above is beyond the Firmament.
