EXPLORING THE COURTYARD OF THE OLD FORT BUILT IN 1699 AD IN STONE TOWN. In this video, you can see the very old thick walls of the old fort with a courtyard and 3 watch towers, as I make my way up the stairs to the art gallery in one of the towers. The curator of the gallery didn't want me to film him, so out of respect i didn't film him. As you may know, that 90% of the population in Zanzibar is of Islamic religion and there's are over 50 Mosques on the island of zanzi. During my SOLO TRAVELS to East Africa, I went exploring the Capital of Zanzibar called Stone Town. here I spent about 4 days exploring the town. The Town covers and area of about 3 km and sadly I didn't have enough time to explore the whole town or the whole Island of Zanzibar. HOWEVER, I do plan to visit Zanzibar again in the future and this time spend more time on the Island. I shall be recording my travels to Zanzi in the future.
