Govinda Arun Ahuja, known as Govinda, recently claimed he was offered a role in James Cameron's Avatar, which he rejected due to discomfort with body painting and the lengthy shoot duration of 410 days. However, producer Pahlaj Nihalani refuted this, suggesting Govinda confused Cameron's Avatar with his own unfinished Hindi film titled Avatar, which they began filming but never completed. Nihalani humorously remarked that Govinda's claims indicate a mix-up in his recollections, emphasizing that the actor had previously worked on a different project titled Avatar directed by him.
