In our landmark 50th episode to cap off the new year, Rob talks about open-source software developer Eric S. Raymond and his warning about women in tech groups (in particular the now-defunct Ada Initiative) attempting to entrap men in the field with false accusations.

We talk a great deal about Science Fiction this time around, firstly with the supposed de-canonization of the trainwreck that is Star Trek: Discovery, the idea of multiverses as a potentially bad plot contrivance, and some examples of brilliant old science fiction.
