Robert Goodland is a retired firefighter/ paramedic from a career department in west central WI, childhood sexual assault survivor, diagnosed with PTSD following a scuba diving accident where he was trapped under the ice following an equipment malfunction. Was unconscious and not breathing when he was pulled out. That accident led to his years long healing journey. He's a dual certified equine gestalt coaching practitioner and founded a coaching business, The Heart of a Horse, where he walks with clients as they heal their own traumas. His memoir, Beneath the Surface, which chronicles his life and tools that i discovered to live a congruent and fulfilling life is due to be released before the end of the year.
