Compass Magnet Motor Explained and Demonstrated

The key purpose of the Compass Magnet Motor is to illustrate that the Earth's magnetic field as regards torque is thousands of times more powerful than it is as regards attracting or repelling.

In other videos we show that this torque (because it is not a true force couple) can be used to propel a small boat or a satellite in low Earth orbit.
