The Lie We Live (2015)

10 years ago on January 27th 2015 I released The Lie We Live to my YouTube channel Freshtastical. The Lie We Live (2015) is a viral video written & created by myself Spencer Cathcart, originally released January 27 2015. The original 2015 upload on my YouTube channel had over 26 million views in the first 2 years, however a music company put a copyright claim on it over a small portion of background music. In a limited period of time I was able to license new music, which is what the current 2017 upload on YouTube contains. However this upload on Rumble contains most of the original music from the original upload on my channel in 2015. A list of the music used in order is credited at the end of the video.

While my perspective of the world is different now than at 19-20 when I wrote the script for The Lie We Live, I believe the message is still relevant today (even though I no longer have the optimism I did a decade ago).

Along with my own footage, this video contains some very short images from other sources in accordance with fair use policies.
