Sep 12, 2023 - Jesus is credited by many Christian writers and scholars as being "the chief proponent of the doctrine of 'hell.'" But is He? As you will see in the next three videos, the word Jesus used was Gehenna. So, was Gehenna Jesus' "hell?" Fact is, Gehenna had a long, sad, sordid, and well-known past history. So how would the Jews of Jesus' day understand His use of the word "Gehenna?"
