Okay, what if sometime in the 1800 the narrative skewed. By a new timeline, perhaps due to a screw-up by those in charge (so-called elites). That put us on a track of a different timeline (Multi-verse concepts). One alternate timeline, that had superior advancement over ours. Yet had been destroyed (Before the screw-up) and all that was left were remnants of their cities, and architecture. And, in order to hide the narrative (Shift in timelines), they began hiding their screw-up using stories like the World Fairs and major cities burning, etc, etc... and hastily using AI to rewrite our old history, and that's why It's so screwed-up.
