when hating yer dad is a virtue...

a lotta people paint w/ a mighty broad brush
many different reasons to do that but we still must fight it!
every bad thing we should try harder to not do
we shouldn't just make excuses for bad behavior
i went to discount tire earlier today n the kid said that my tires were fine
i finally applied for a job at this health food store up the street from sns
i dunno how to respond cos i really dunno what hours i could work
i was pissed off so i spoke to a mgr in hopes to get another job
i am sick of these eggshell people
i know you've noticed my self-righteousness
i am so lucky to have the curiosity that i do
i have the knowledge due to the curiosity
i will never understand not wanting to know yourself
well i guess technically you don't have to live in the body that you were given
it would make sense to try to understand yourself, it would make yer life so much easier
if she's an actual narcissist she probably won't ever care about how her actions negatively impact other people
it's natural for people to get pissed off about these things but it is pretty dumb to take it personally
i ain't gonna be her punching bag anymore
obviously my coping mechanism ain't that much better
self-defense often involves drugs
booze used to be my defense against the world
i don't wanna just keep rationalizing things that i do that are holding me back
you can't expect other people to change, you have to be the one who initiates it
i was absolutely amazed during this phone conversation w/ my dad
there used to be so much tension between me n my dad
we look at the world completely different but it's no longer stressful to talk to him
if you had told me back in the day that i'd eventually have a relationship w/ my dad i woulda never spoken to you again
