Yep, I remember HATING this part of the game back then...
And I STILL DO today.

The only saving grace here is that I don't have to deal with the EXTREMELY HIGH random encounter rate WHILE doing the runaround with that stupid horse thingy.

On that topic, the hard mode is actually hard in terms of the random encounters in DDS2. You actually do not want to get careless, even in the standard battles.

I still need to raise the merchant rank to get the item I need to do my usual grinding methods for this game. I might have to sell the Soma after this...

Next week, a reunion with a certain always angry dude.
