Hue Monuments Complex

The Hue Imperial Architectural Complex includes a system of relics related to the Nguyen Dynasty, located in Hue city and the districts of Huong Tra, Huong Thuy, Phu Vang, Phu Loc, in Thua Thien Hue Province.
The 17th Conference of the World Heritage Committee on December 11, 1993 recognized the Hue Monuments Area as a World Cultural Heritage with the criteria: Hue represents an outstanding evidence of power. Vietnamese feudalism lost its peak in the early 19th century, and is an outstanding example of an Eastern feudal capital.
