Rooted in Truth. Trusting the Bible. Part 1

Do you know why Christians trust the Bible? How can we know that we have the actual writings of God’s prophets in the Bible? How can we trust a book that’s between about two thousand and thirty-five hundred years old? It’s a reasonable question. Does truth have a shelf life? If you went to a dentist and his books were just a hundred years old, you’d find another dentist. If your lawyer’s reference materials were three hundred years old, you’d know he or she was not fit to represent you. So, why do Christians place all their trust in such an ancient text? I cannot get enough in life of this subject. I pray that it brings you great encouragement in trusting God at the source.
