Is Devin Haney TELLING THE TRUTH About Teofimo Lopez?

In a recent X post, Devin Haney let his disdain for Teofimo Lopez be known. Devin spoke about how Teofimo talks badly about Black people, but you need a black person for a payday.

Could this be one of the reasons Bill Haney turned down the offer from Top Rank to fight Teo? Bill said he turned down the Top Rank offer because he didn't like the deal structure.

However, Teofimo openly displays his bigotry online against black fighters like Tank Davis, Devin Haney, and Terence Crawford. I have to wonder could this be another reason why the Haney's rejected the offer?

Devin also said Teofimo is begging black fighters to fight him for a payday. This is true. One minute Teofimo is calling black fighters monkeys. The next minute he's asking those same black fighters for a fight.

Devin also announced his return to the ring in March. There are speculations as to where, and who Devin Haney will be fighting next. We know he won't be fighting on Top Rank, Bill Haney ruled that out.

And Matchroom seems not to be interested at all. Where do the Haney's go from here? I have no idea.

Haney put a Tweet out about fighting on BLK Prime, but he deleted the next shortly thereafter. I suspect Haney will fight someone who's tailor-made for his jab style.

Teofimo is not a draw with his own people. So he does need a marque name fighter to make money. Teofimo let it be known he's being paid crumbs at Top Rank.

Maybe we can get a Teo vs Ryan Garcia fight later this year. We can label the fight, "the battle of the 2 bigots."
