Life with Jake #prayforjake

Please allow me to share a little bit about our Jake. (Most of you know him as Jacob.) Jake is 32 years old. He is a special needs adult with a child-like mind that of a 2-year-old. He has the biggest heart and loves everyone, especially girls. There is never a sad day in his life. Anyone who knows him knows he's crazy about his weasel balls from Craker Barrel and they stay in his hands at all times. He can never have enough of them! He absolutely loves going to Cherokee, North Carolina to feed the bears, taking trips to Grandmama's house, and adores his nana. To him, Santa is real, along with Mighty Joe Young. Christmas is every day and there should always be sausage biscuits and coke at all times. He knows everybody and everybody knows him. Once you meet him you will never forget him. He has touched many lives and he still has work to do.
Jake is currently at Emory Hospital. He has been at three different hospitals since November and is currently at Emory since December 9th, 2024. To go into the depth of his many medical issues will take forever to list. All I can say is he is fighting for his life. We ask prayer for healing, strength, and courage for Jake and his family. He has a long road ahead of him. We know that we are not in control but God is. Our faith is strong and we know God is not finished with our boy. He has a purpose and plan for Jake. We love our boy and we thank each and every one of you for your continued prayers and support. Please keep praying! May we all have a heart like Jake. The world sure would be a better place.
