Religious People Arrogant for Believing In Only One Way?

Rabbi Romain suggests it’s arrogant to believe there is only one way to God. However, this ignores the fact that many religious founders and leaders have suffered, sacrificed, and even died for their beliefs. Why would they do this if they didn’t believe their way was the only right way? Were all of them wrong about what they believed? Does Rabbi Romain know better than them?
