Sled dog races to return

After a two-year hiatus, a popular UP sled dog race is back this weekend. Organizers announced that the Tahquamenon Country Sled Dog Race will return in a Facebook post on Monday. The races take place from a modified start at Headquarters Lake along County Road 407 north of Newberry this Saturday and Sunday. Unfortunately, there’s no spectator parking.
