CCO of Arrowhead Studios and Director of HELLDIVERS 2 Johan Pilestedt made the very sensible proclamation that outside interference in game development is a creativity killer. In as many words, Pilestedt made it clear that diversity, equity and inclusion policies detract from what makes gaming great and has no room in the development process. Keeping gaming free of modern ideology is key to success, hopefully that same opinion translates over to hiring practices; chiefly in Arrowhead's community manager departments...
