The political junkies, Steven Tripp, Sam Buono and Richard Storch are back to discuss the big issues in Australia right now – and it has been a massive week of issues.

Firstly, Richard and Sam conclude that the policy announcement to build seven nuclear power stations by Opposition Leader Peter Dutton was the most significant news in recent weeks.

The trio discuss whether it will be a vote-wining policy, or whether it has created a big target for the Coalition detractors to attack. Steven then provides some examples from both extremes of politics attacking the move to nuclear, including social media posts from Senator Malcolm Roberts and Teal Independent Dr. Sophie Scamps.

The resignation of former NSW Treasurer Matt Kean is discussed and whether it will benefit the Liberal Party moving forward.

Then the boys dig deep into the AEC’s draft NSW Redistribution of Federal electorates, which saw the abolition of the seat of North Sydney, currently held by Teal Independent, Kylea Tink. Richard gives us a comprehensive breakdown of what the redistribution will mean for the upcoming Federal election, as he identifies the seats which will be lost by the current Labor Government and what this will mean for their chances to form a majority Government.
