In traditional financial markets, certain habits have been practiced for a long time. Fundamental analysis, which we call NEWS TRACKING, and other auxiliary data sciences, such as sources of information, have been utilized. Even in the 1700s, when technology was not as widespread and communication was limited, people tried to profit through buying and selling.

During those times, since following the news and similar resources was not possible, some techniques that shaped the price itself began to emerge. One of the most important of these is attributed to Dow Jones, who stated that "the price includes everything." If we listen to Dow Jones, the concept of price action was introduced by Charles Dow, the son of a Connecticut farmer and one of the well-known figures of technical analysis.

The strategy, initially called Price Discounts Everything, is fundamentally based on the concept of price. To put it in simple terms, it suggests that while news may have daily impacts, the essential determinant is the price itself. This strategy is closely linked to risk management, as it assumes that random price movements observed in the past will repeat over time and considers no alternative possibilities.
