Southern California is on fire. It is as bad as I have ever seen. The high winds have grounded the fixed wing aircraft that are the most critical to battle these fires. But leading up to the fires is a total leadership failure from the local, county and state levels. There are reports fire hydrants in Los Angeles County are not working. The local water department is being accused of failing to fill the reservoir to supply the necessary water needed to fight the fires.

Adding to the challenges, Los Angeles fired dozens of fire fighters for not taking the COVID-19 experimental shot. This on top of Mayor Karen Bass cutting 20-million dollars from the LAFD budget.
