The NIU President, AD, and football head coach announced on Tuesday in a press conference that the school is moving the football program to the Mountain West Conference. As far as the olympic sports are concerned, that announcement probably will happen once that deal has been finalized. That might not happen until after the spring semester but that is my speculation based on what was stated in the press conference...
