A sleeper show from a sleeper year. After one of the best, unsung WrestleManias of all time (21), Vengeance kind of played as the buffer to where the WrestleMania feuds ended and the SummerSlam feuds began. John Cena had just been drafted to RAW and was made to defend his WWE Title against Christian and Chris Jericho in a Triple Threat match, Shawn Michaels attempts to avenge his WrestleMania loss against Kurt Angle in another classic encounter, Edge and Kane battled it out right before the previously fired Matt Hardy made his return, Batista and Triple H close out their World Heavyweight Title feud in a bloody, brutal Hell in a Cell match before Batista gets drafted to SmackDown, and so much more took place on this RAW brand exclusive pay-per-view!
