Tom reveals the reason Michael and Danielle (Tom's children with his first wife) no longer communicate with him: Michael was removed from the home after accusations of sexually abusing Andrew as a child. While it is certain that Andrew was sexually abused based on his childhood records (a fact Andrew currently denies as abuse of that nature is linked to paraphilias he currently displays,) whether Michael was the culprit or not is unclear.
