THE LOVE THAT IS BETTER THAN LIFE ITSELF

Psalm 63:3-5 New King James Version
3 Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You.
4 Thus I will bless You while I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.
5 My soul shall be satisfied as with [a]marrow and [b]fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.

“GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS, O God my Father! There is no shadow of turning with Thee. Thou changest not, thy compassions they fail not, thou hast been thou forever wilt be!” The words of this beautiful hymn, as well as Lamentations 3:22-23, came to my mind while I was reading this morning’s scripture, and I think these verses are very appropriate especially right now with what is going on in our country. With the natural disasters that have been taking place throughout the year, in particular hurricane Helene, and now these wildfires in California, I can't help but think about how badly we need to be reminded of God's faithful, covenant love toward us.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from Psalm 63 this morning, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you encourages you to know but God can and will strengthen your faith during the hard times, if you choose to allow Him to help you to do so. To know that God's love is better than life, and that you can be rest assured that His love for you is better than anything ever! So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I'd like to leave you with these questions from this morning's devotional, and I pray that they help you to see that God's love is not only better than life, but will never fail you.

How can knowing God loves you help when you’re feeling attacked or defeated?

When has praising Him strengthened your faith during hard times?

I pray tonight that all of you will know that even in the worst moments, whatever circumstances or the fierceness of anyone standing against us, that you can remain confident in the fact that because you know Christ as savior, God will never abandon you. That the love God has for you is truly better than life, but that most of all He will stand by you through the suffering, hardships, trauma, and attacks that come your way, and will give you victory. Most of all, I also encourage all those who are in the midst of any difficulty, opposition, storm, or trauma, to know that One who died for you, is the same One who will stand with you through what you are going through, and will give you not only the hope you need, but is faithful to give you the victory that you deserve!!
