Yesterday, the Fed's meeting minutes were released. The minutes reveal that high inflation remains a concern, spending continues to be strong, and employment is more robust than expected. Some officials expressed the view that "There’s a risk of persistent high inflation; let’s keep rates steady for now." Meanwhile, the Fed indicates it’s nearing a slower pace of easing and hints that rate cuts might decelerate, especially after December.
