End Times Timeline - EP12.1

Welcome back to foundations in Christ. Let’s begin a multi part series on the end times timeline. We will research and review what scripture says about what will occur in each section of the timeline.

I personally am very intrigued by biblical prophecy and have been studying the topic ever since I became a Christian, more than 30 years ago. The topic was one of the things that drew me to surrendering to Christ way back then, and I have been researching the prophetic scriptures ever since.

Recently I have noticed that there are many online videos and blogs on this topic. And it seems that there are so differing views on what the scriptures say on the topic. This is concerning since we should all be of one accord when it comes to what the scriptures teach us. But unfortunately, we are human and include our own desired outcome into our reading of scripture. I’m certain everyone’s intent is to add clarity on this topic, but it seems that the information keeps getting more and more watered down, with our own thoughts working to confuse the matter. Also, I am sure that, what we have been taught in the past has influenced our beliefs on scripture where we unknowingly apply those teachings into our reading of the scriptures.

So, it is my hope that by referring back to the scriptures, together maybe we can bring back some clarity, or reset our understanding, to fall more in line with what scripture says. This can certainly be difficult considering there are many of these scriptures that are somewhat vague and leaves us guessing at some details whether we want to or not.

I will try my best to minimize my guessing but feel it will be required in some cases. Please add your feedback in the comments if you have additional scriptures that I might have missed that can help eliminate some of this guessing and I will update the lessons with the information where it applies.
