2024 Red Snapper season lasted the longest ive seen since ive been fishing going all the way to December 31st! I had ran a trip this morning and figured id make a short trip out afterwards in some relatively shallow water to catch a quick limit. I called my friend the Bayou bandit out to meet me at the launch and we headed south with no dead or live bait to catch these fish. We used nothing but plastics and had a blast while getting them. The next day I demonstrate how I prepare one of these fish to cook whole on the grill and it turned out amazing!
