Earlier this week Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced that his social media platforms will be suspending their so-called independentm fact checking and will inplement a similar "Community Notes" program. Though Zuckerberg claims he wants to bring a more balanced aproach to the platform, this news has been met with skepticism with come calling it a "MAGA Makeover."
