JELLYBEANS – (Concert Band)

The composition JELLYBEANS, was written for my beginning band students, with the purpose of providing them with a fun song that would teach them the concept of eighth-eighth-quarter rhythms by using the title of the song “JEL-LY-BEANS”.

It is my hope that JELLYBEANS will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate, and encourage their students.

JELLYBEANS, is dedicated to all of my former band students that I had the privilege to teach from 1975-2015 at: Madison High School, Madison County High School, Madison Middle School, and Madison County Central School. They continue to bless my life.
