SO BE IT! – (For Concert Band)

The composition SO BE IT! was written for my middle school beginning band students, as an instructional aide to assist them as they were learning the first notes, and eighth note rhythms in their band method book.

It is my hope that SO BE IT! will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate, and encourage their students.

SO BE IT! is dedicated to all of my former band students that I had the privilege to teach from 1975-2015 at: Madison High School, Madison County High School, Madison Middle School, and Madison County Central School. They continue to bless my life.
