Cousin Weakeyes - The Movie

In the late 1940's Ray and Bill Burtz, with the help of several other relatives and friends, decided to make an 8mm movie called "Cousin Weakeyes." The main character was based on a character with the same name from Al Capp's "Lil' Abner" comic strip. The original movie, which was shot in color but was silent, was a favorite of the Burtz kids during the 1960s and 70s. It was digitized several years ago with sound, credits and other explanatory graphics added by Ron Burtz. In the 80s other Cousin Weakeyes movies were made based on the character with Wendell Burtz (and some other "body doubles") playing the part of Weakeyes. Those movies will be posted here as well.
