God is Just

Ezekiel tells us about a saying among the people of Israel that offends God. It implies God works in a way that would not be just. God explains that he does not assign the guilt for sins to anyone except the person who did them. Therefore fathers are not guilty of the sins of the sons nor the reverse. Also when someone turns away from God, the slate of their good deeds is wiped clean just as the slate of the sins of a sinner is wiped clean when he turns to God
