CANTUS - (Trumpet, Horn, Trombone, Baritone/Trombone)

The composition CANTUS, was written for brass quartet. The title is Latin for “song” and is dedicated to my wife and best friend, Betty. CANTUS was inspired by Psalm40:3.

It is my hope that CANTUS will provide musicians with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used to motivate and encourage their students.
