Abiotic Petroleum

In the early 20th century oil production was the new "railroad" in the West. J.D. Rockefeller was one of the "oligarchs" riding this new railroad for all he could get from it. After seeing a symposium on the origins of petroleum, Rockefeller saw a way to manipulate pricing in his favor for decades, maybe even centuries. Borrowing from the as yet unproven hypothesis presented at the symposium, he decided to back the scientists who were tinkering with the "fossil break-down" theory so that the world could be persuaded that oil from the ground was a finite resource, never to be replenished. It worked like a charm, and the master manipulator accumulated wealth beyond his expectations. But what if it was an errant theory? There is abundant evidence to corroborate the notion that these scientists got it all wrong. Have a look at some of that evidence.
