"Key Key Karimba" is a song by the Italian artist Baltimora from his 1987 album "Survivor in Love". The band was fronted by Jimmy McShane, born in Northern Ireland in 1957. McShane was the public face of the band, known for his distinctive look and energetic stage presence. The music, however, was largely composed by Maurizio Bassi, the band's actual musical mastermind.
Despite the band's fame with "Tarzan Boy", "Key Key Karimba" did not achieve similar commercial success. McShane struggled with health issues throughout his career, ultimately passing away in 1995 from complications related to AIDS.
