Insurance with Infiniti Episode 10: What I look for while recruiting life insurance agents

Let's be real, hiring/recruiting for any industry is hard right now. When it comes to life insurance, that goes double.

Obviously this is an industry where you have to have a love for people and a positive character. Though the compensation can be a really nice aspect of this career path, make sure you're pursuing it for the right reasons.

When interviewing potential agents, I always look for those who can show me their humanity and their potential. Every recruiter is different but these two things tell me a lot about a person. Similarly, the way the speak and handle questions I ask helps me to determine whether this industry is a good fit for them.

Because even though this job has a lot of perks, it doesn't suit everyone!
