Outside of the Pacific Palisades, families waited in long lines for hours - desperate to find out if their homes are still standing. The L.A. County sheriff warned about criminal activity and advised people who do not belong in the disaster zone to stay out. NBC News’ Ellison Barber spoke with residents who evacuated and are now hoping to learn more about their homes.
