WHEN I CALLED YOU was inspired by Psalm 4:1; “Answer me when I call to you, O God who declares me innocent. Free me from my troubles. Have mercy on me and hear my prayer.” (NLT)

WHEN I CALLED YOU is dedicated to my French horn teachers; Clarence Day, Ralph Lockwood, Ward O. Fearn, Douglas Hill, and Dr. Kristen Johns. Each one of them were a tremendous influence in my life. I was blessed by knowing them, and I'm grateful to for the impact they had in my life.

It is my hope that WHEN I CALLED YOU, will provide students with a song that they will enjoy learning to play, and provide other music educators with a teaching tool that can be used in helping to motivate and encourage their horn students.
