River channel reopened

U.S. Coast Guard Sector Northern Great Lakes reopened the West Neebish Channel for down bound traffic on the St. Mary’s River. The channel was closed due to a 497-foot bulk cargo vessel carrying canola seed running aground traveling down bound on the St. Mary’s River Sunday. There were no injuries or environmental contamination. The Ship has resumed its trip. David Barr Michigan News Source.
