Only 15 Percent of Steam Players Played 2024 Game Releases

Only 15 percent of Steam players have played games released in 2024. There have been a decline in players when it comes to newer games. More players have been playing games before 2020 and retro games have been making a return. Does this mean AAA games are going to crash soon? Is this why we're seeing more remasters or remakes?
