As well as being a senior figure in Labour South East, Ivor Caplin was chair of the Jewish Labour Movement (JLM) in 2018-19 when he was outspoken about anti-Semitism in the party and, until very recently, was a patron of Labour LGBT+

The Guardian failed to mention this story , yet - their last mention of Caplin was last summer when he was suspended from the Labour party and no reason was ever given??
