Yes, LA Mayor Karen Bass should have called the National Guard to be placed around the fire prone areas with fire trucks filled with water and had been dropping fire retardant BEFORE Santa Ana winds were expected by the weather service.

CA Governor Gavin Newsom lied, the fire chief lied the guy I don't remember his name, both said they had resources set up before the fire started. Then why did it take LAFD 54 minutes for 1st water drop at ignition point?
