Camera tunes very well if you will wait a little (3-5 seconds) at the beginning. Camera chooses optimal settings for the night shot.
Fireworks are in the infinity so this is standard focus issue - because AF can not measure infinity. But it deals very good. The trick is to have some solid reference point in the focus range - like monument, part of the building and so on. Then the effect is great. To be honest it is far beyond my expectations. In the same time I recorded it with smartphone and on the smart phone it was terrible. So lenses play the crucial role in such shots.
