Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Attack A Police Dog

On March 3rd, 2024, officers responded to a hotel in reference to an unwanted guest. They made contact with the suspect in the parking lot and asked him to leave but the male refused to comply and started driving around the lot in circles. The officers surrounded the car with their patrol vehicles. The driver was trapped but he still rammed both cars in a bid to escape. During his apprehension, the male assaulted a police K9 by grabbing its head with his arms. He resisted ferociously while shouting I Love You at the officers. The male sustained several injuries during the altercation and was carried off in a stretcher. He was released from the hospital the following day with a renewed smile. The male was identified as 20-year-old Kevin. He was charged with Battery on K9, resisting arrest with violence, reckless driving, battery on a law enforcement officer, and trespassing.
