Meet David Hartley, an ordinary man with an extraordinary story. A regular guy, living a routine life, or so he thought... until the day he ended up trapped in the Backrooms, a surreal and nightmarish reality that defies all logic. What was once dismissed as an urban myth is now his horrifying truth.

In his first audio log, David introduces himself and recounts the strange events leading up to his sudden arrival in this never-ending labyrinth of flickering lights and decaying hallways. Desperate to understand his new surroundings and find a way out, David has somehow managed to send these recordings back to the outside world. His fear, confusion, and determination are palpable as he takes his first steps into the unknown.

David’s journey through the Backrooms begins with his eerie discovery of the endless yellow walls and buzzing fluorescent lights that seem to stretch infinitely. But the terror doesn’t stop there. As he walks, he begins to sense something watching him from the shadows—something that doesn’t belong.

Who is David Hartley? David was just an average office worker before this nightmare began. He had no special skills, no connection to the paranormal—just a man living in a small town, doing his job and going home. His life was ordinary. But one fateful day, everything changed. A strange glitch in reality sucked him into the Backrooms, and now, he's recording these audio logs in hopes that someone—anyone—can hear him and understand his plight.

His only hope lies in these recordings, sent out into the void, with the hope that they’ll reach someone on the other side. But as Day 1 unfolds, David realizes that escaping this place might be far harder than he ever imagined.
