The Last of Us is widely considered as one of the best video games of all time and its transition into a televised format was nothing short of spectacular, but season 2 faces a lot more pressure after Sony announced it has a variety of video game adaptations in the works. HBO's hit series became a massive success when it first debuted in 2023, as the first season won multiple awards and surpassed audience expectations.
