Why do we use GOD'S name as a cuss word?

Why do people take ALMIGHTY GOD’S name “in vain?”
To take the name of GOD in vain is to use the name of GOD
with levity, like it's a big joke or something. (It's not a joke).
It's BLATANT DISRESPECT. Cursing or using ALMIGHTY GOD’S
name in vain is generally - an indication of something much deeper
going on within.
