Politics & the economy: Where are we headed?

I discuss four potential paths offered in the national discussion to deal with economic issues after the failure of the neo-liberal era. These are Trump's economic nationalism, Biden's industrial policy, progressivism, and economic conservatism. To assess them I point out the main dynamics driving economic and political change across U.S. history and apply them to each of these paths.
