Several decades ago there was a special law passed to give Congressional staffers a special privilege. Congressional staffers could get career civil service jobs if their House or Senate member was defeated. Landmark Legal Foundation demanded this absurd privilege by denied – and it was. Can you imagine what would happen today if that was still law today?
